Weekend Reading – June 19, 2011

I’m posting my weekend reading a little late due to my vacation. I haven’t had an internet connection for the past few days and I just landed back in Florida a couple hours ago. It was great to see the family and it was also great to have the vacation paid for.

Here are some excellent articles from fellow dividend growth investors, frugalists and personal finance bloggers from the past week.

Dividend Income – June 2011

My Own Advisor reveals how he redeems air miles for gas. I have a credit card that has 1% cash back that I will use for purchases once the balance is high enough. Always nice to receive free stuff!

British American Tobacco BTI Dividend Stock Analysis
The Dividend Guy analyzes this company, which I’m not very familiar with. I have positions with Altria and Philip Morris, which I like to add to when I can, but I will look into this company a little further. I am bullish on tobacco stocks, overall.

Susan P. Brunner Interview – Part 1
The Dividend Ninja published a 2-part interview with Susan P. Brunner, a fellow blogger who is actually doing what many of us are aspiring to do-live off dividends. The second part of the interview can be found here. This is a fascinating and well done interview, and it is really refreshing to hear from someone who is “walking the walk”. Check it out.

Thanks for reading.
